Summer Glau: the new Lara Croft?

For sci fi babe Summer Glau life after Terminator has begun. So what´s in store for this robot babe?
Well, there is to be a prequel to Lara Croft.

According to producer Dan Lin it´s going to be more “character driven” than the previous ones. Well, that shouldn´t be too difficult. Of course everyone on the web has their dream girl for the part. Angelina Jolie is out, because she played the part in the previous two installments and, hot as she may be, even she is not getting any younger. That also rules out other dream candidates, such as Summer´s Terminator:SCC co-star Lena Heady and Underworld babe Kate Beckinsdale: alas, too old.

I think Summer´d be perfect as Lara. She has that whole sexy action star thing going and she can probably recycle most of her T:SCC wardrobe!

Also in the running: Megan Fox, though Lin vehemently denied this, and House hottie Olivia Wilde, recently voted hottest chick alive by Maxim. I´m going to put forward another name: Brittany Snow. I know, not her scene, then again, this is a prequel, it might show Lara as a sweet cuddly teenager who, due to circumstances, turns into a fully fledged action heroe.

Well, I guess no matter who they pick, it´s going to be one hot movie!

Ahhhh. I do so hope that this was not the end of Terminator: SCC! The big guns are deciding this week, on May the 18th.  If it was the end, it was a worthy send off!

Summer Glau Terminator: SCC

Fox is still on the fence on whether or not there will be a third season for Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles, but the fans have spoken! E! online does an annual poll on which doomed show deserves a second chance and Terminator won hands down. 300.000 people voted, and T:SCC scored a whopping 52% of those votes, beating the crap out of shows like Chuck (25%) and Dollhouse (10%).

Fox will decide on 18th of May, until then all bets are off!

Loved her in Firefly, love her even more in Terminator: SCC. Hope they get a new season!
